We LOVE What We Do!

Allie: Owner/Alpha

Howdy! I’m Allie, Owner, Alpha & Founder of Let’s Walk Austin! I’m an Atlanta, Georgia transplant who now calls Texas, “Home Sweet Home!” Having grown up with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and donkeys, animals are my love language! I started my career in dog walking back in Atlanta and quickly realized I just landed my dream job. When I moved to Texas, I emailed all the Austin dog walking companies asking even if they were fully staffed, to give me a chance! It worked and I joined Let’s Walk Austin in 2019. After 2 years of working for LWA, I bought the company and have been living the dream ever since! For the first couple years, LWA grew strictly on word-of-mouth and I couldn’t be more thankful for such incredible clients appreciating our hard work. If you know me, you know I will do ANYTHING for our LWA dogs! The rare time I’m not out walking our LWA pups, I am exploring with my husband, Alan, and our two rescued dogs, Maisy & Cowboy! They go EVERY WHERE with me, if dogs aren’t allowed, I’m not going!

As of September 2023, I have opened my THIRD branch in Houston, Texas!! Can’t believe this is my job, someone pinch me!!

Alan: Owner/Alpha

Athens, Georgia (Go Dawgs!) native who followed my dog-obsessed wife out to Texas. I grew up training my own dogs for my hunting passion. Watching my dogs learn and grow beside me, built a deep connection with these incredible animals. After years of owning labs, my wife and I rescued a full blood labbit (lab-pit), Cowboy, to accompany our smart-as-a-whip, heeler, Maisy. And then Allie brought home a cat one day and now I am a “cat dad.” Our family of five does anything and everything dog friendly! You won’t ever find us without our two fur kids alongside. If I’m not at Jo’s Coffee with Maisy & Cowboy, you’ll catch me working with our Let’s Walk Austin pups!

So excited to be part of Allie’s dream-come-true job and meet all the precious pups in Texas!! And now Denver, Colorado! We want to meet them all!!

And as of May 2024, I have left my corporate job (District Manager for Pernod Ricard) to join Allie and do this FULL TIME with her! I traded spirits and liquor for slobber and love!

Alexandra: Manager

Hello there, I’m Alexandra, the Manager of Let’s Walk Austin!

I am so proud to lead our exceptional team of walkers to provide quality care for your animals! A lifelong animal lover and activist, I’ve spent many years taking care of any and all pets! If they have a heartbeat, I care! (Fun Fact: I have been a vegetarian for over 10 years!)

It’s fundamentally important to me to always go above and beyond to take care of anyone who trusts me with their pets and homes like they are my own. I have high expectations and a keen eye for attention to detail, so I take pet owner’s trust seriously! I’ve worked with dogs with trauma and dog trainers over the years, so I understand the importance of sensitive boundaries and also how to keep order in dynamic environments.

Prior to finding LWA, I was a flight attendant for 10+ years. While I loved traveling professionally, I missed being away from animals so often!

When I’m not managing LWA, you can find me training for long distance running & triathlon or spending time with my wife and our zoo! (Two rescue pups-Sandy and Kiera and three cats Mikey, Kismet, and Lucien).

Hannah

Hey y’all! I’m Hannah and I’m a dog walker/sitter for Let’s Walk Austin and a proud dog mama of a cuddly Pitbull named, Dude, and a crazy Australian shepherd named, Heido! I’m also an Austinite born and raised and proud of it! I got paid to walk my first dog in middle school and have been absolutely obsessed ever since! I believe dogs make the world a better and brighter place and this belief led me to work as a pet sitter for the past decade. I also worked at an “open play” doggy daycare for 3 years and was able to learn so much about how dogs interact not only with us, but with each other. And I’m a psychology major at Texas State University and one of the most important things I’ve learned is that being in the presence of animals drastically improves one’s mental health AND physical well-being. When I’m not walking the pups of Austin, I’m usually watching movies or going out to eat with my husband and fur babies!

Lynne

My name is Lynne and I’m the oldest member of the Let’s walk AUSTIN pack! I was born on a US Army base in Germany and then moved to Texas at age 6 months. I grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and attended college and law school Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. I have lived in Austin since 2018 and I am an attorney-turned-dog walker, and a crazy dog lady and proud of it! I am an animal lover through and through and have been the proud animal mom of one Chihuahua, four Yorkshire terriers, three labrador retrievers, one miniature schnauzer, three great Pyrenees, two tabby cats, one horse, two hamsters, one bearded dragon, hundreds of chickens, and currently two crazy, crazy French bulldogs named Theodore and Tinker Bell. I have been walking dogs and caring for animals since age 6 and it is truly my greatest passion 🐶❤️🐾. I am the proud mom of one amazing daughter who is attending school at Texas State is also a member of our LWA pack!!! We love on your pets as if they were our own!! By far the BEST and most rewarding job I have ever had! 🐶🐾❤️🐕🦮🐩🐕‍🦺🐈🐈‍⬛🐱🐓🐥🐴🐎❤️

Jacque

Hey there! I’m Jacque (pronounced like Jackie). I am a client turned walker! I am originally from Houston and moved to Austin in spring of 2020. I grew up with a German Shepherd/Lab mix named Raven and a cat named Freeway (we found her on the freeway in Houston). I’ve been animal obsessed ever since. I love how dog friendly this city is. I will always ask if I can meet your dog because they bring me so much joy. I finally adopted my sweet dog named Jake (the girl) from Austin Pets Alive. Her profile picture just spoke to me and I knew she would be the perfect fit for my family. She’s a blue heeler/lab mix and just perfect! She also happens to be the doppelgänger of Maisy!! I found LWA through social media because I started following Maisy’s account. I decided to try out the LWA services for myself and the rest is history. I’m so glad to be part of this journey! I can’t wait to meet your pets!

Avery

Hi, I’m Avery! I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and moved to Austin about three years ago after studying at Texas State University in San Marcos—Go Bobcats! I’ve been walking and sitting dogs for around eight years, and it never gets old. I absolutely love my furry friends. When I’m not with dogs, you can find me at Barton Springs, practicing yoga, or exploring new places. I’m always active and on the move, so this job is perfect for burning off that extra energy. I’m excited to be part of a team that shares my passion for animals. Let’s get walking, Austin!

Chloe

Howdy! I'm an Austinite born and raised. I grew up showing Golden Retrievers and was always surrounded by adorable golden puppies. My mom was a vet and our house was always full of cats and dogs. I showed livestock in 4-H and became club and county president. I also showed horses growing up! I'm a proud Longhorn and Austinite. I've been pet sitting ever since I can remember and am qualified to help special needs pets. I love what I do and never work a day in my life, as they say. If I'm not hanging out with a furry friend I'm hiking or reading a book. Can't wait to meet your baby!

Makenzie

Hello! My name is Makenzie, but you can call me Mak! I am originally from the Corpus Christi area, but I have been living in Austin for ten years now. Living out in the country for most of my life, I have been surrounded with tons of animals (dogs, cats, bunnies, and etc). In March of 2022, I had the luxury of rescuing my now 3 year old Belgian Malinois Zelda, when she was left outside during an awful winter freeze. I know that I mentioned that I had rescued her, but she genuinely rescued me! Most of my free time is spent adventuring with my girl Zelda, teaching her new tricks, or giving her all the cuddles she desires. If I am not around a furry companion, I am cooking, traveling, reading a book, or getting a new vinyl for my record collection. I am so thrilled to be apart of the Let’s Walk Austin team, and having your pet as a part of our family!❤️

Gabbie

Hi there, I’m Gabbie! A native Texan originally from Dallas and relocated to Austin in 2022. I have always been a passionate animal advocate since a young age and began working with them in 2016 at a training and boarding facility! In 2019 I expanded my love of animals and became a veterinarian technician. I have loved building strong relationships with clients and patients! With a love for all breeds, I ensure each walk is engaging and tailored to my fur friend’s needs. In my free time I can be found outdoors exploring Austin with my two rescue dogs. I have a very high energy Pointer mix, Teruhashi, and a shy senior GSD, Haven. When we aren’t out and about we are probably lounging around the house with the cats, Russet and Macadamia. I am so happy to be apart of the Let’s Walk Austin team and meet your baby!

Felisha

Howdy! I’m Felisha and I’m a born raised Texan. Born in Austin and raised in New Braunfels and I now hang my hat in south Austin.

I’ve always been a dog lover and most recently a cat lover. I love caring for animals! I currently have a boxer named Odette and 3 cats: Zoí, Iago, and Abu.

In my free time I like to play flag football, basketball, sand volleyball, or listen to podcast / nonfiction books.

Chris

Hey y’all, I’m Chris! Born and raised in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago, but have been living in Austin for 11 years now. I’ve always had a fondness for all types of animals, so much so that my house was basically a zoo growing up! I believe at one point, we had 2 cats, a pug, 2 chinchillas, a monitor (big lizard), 3 different breeds of snakes, and about 14 parakeets! Currently a proud dog dad to two handsome little pitty mixes!

Before joining the LWA family I have had many jobs ranging from tending bar to carpentry to operating a forklift, but happily moving into the business of animal care!

In my free time, I write and produce music and weather permitting, spend as much time outside near water as I can!

Mollie

Howdy! I’m Mollie! I’m originally from Houston but have lived in Austin the past 10 years. I’ve been an animal lover my whole life so much so that my parents were convinced I would own a zoo one day!

I have experience with just about every animal you can think of from dogs and cats to snakes and lizards. My wife and I are the proud pet parents of 2 dogs (Kiera and Sandy), 3 cats (Mikey, Kismet and Lucien) and 1 leopard gecko (Britney) and our favorite days involve cuddling and spending time with all our babies.

In my other free time I love playing soccer or pickleball and I’m currently learning to hip hop dance. Can’t wait to care for your babies!

Aidan

Hi, my name is Aidan Chadwick. I've lived in 8 different states including Alaska (my photo is from a sled dog tour I went on in Alaska) but I'm from Northern Minnesota. After spending ten years there and graduating from North Dakota State University (Go Bison!) I got tired of the winters and made the move down to Austin in 2022. I love Austin and how there are dogs almost everywhere you look in this city. I grew up with dogs and my childhood dog Izzy, back home in Minnesota, even though she is a senior dog now, is still going strong. I miss her a lot!

I serve people in my day job as a social worker and I'm excited to get to serve dogs during my evenings.

In my free time I'm playing (and winning) bar trivia with my friends, hitting the gym, going to the movie theater, trying new food spots, and supporting Austin FC. I can't wait to meet your pup!

Ash

Hi there! I'm Ash, I've always had a deep love for animals and the outdoors. Growing up with a variety of pets—from dogs to all sorts of creatures—has given me a special connection with our furry friends. I believe every pet has a unique personality, and I love making sure they get the care, attention, and fun they deserve.

I am an Austin native, and a UT grad (hook ‘em!). Besides animals, I am passionate about studying Osteo Anthropology, and am in pursuit of my doctorate in this field. I have one pup named Ophelia, who is sunshine personified!

I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and give them the best walk of their day!
